Picchiata verso sud, tappa senza attimi di respiro, a parte brevi soste all’uscita del Frejus e nelle Langhe. Giornata contrassegnata da un ritmo davvero impegnativo nelle due “speciali” del Todocco e dai successivi due trasferimenti, con medie superiori ai 50 all’ora su stradine di montagna, aperte al traffico e con i concorrenti più datati da superare. Noi siamo molto soddisfatti, “Vagabunda” ha reagito bene alle sollecitazioni, appena due minuti di ritardo a una speciale, dovuti soprattutto al rallentamento di tre concorrenti anteguerra. Serata di gala con gli amici della ESSO e i colleghi genovesi, interviste, brindisi, racconti. Raggiungiamo il letto dopo le 23. E domattina sveglia alle 5.30. Parecchi i concorrenti in difficoltà, pensiamo che almeno due terzi avranno più penalità di noi. Ma stiamo parlando di minuti. Alla fine conteranno i giorni.
Go diving towards Italy
We go diving towards the south, stage without moments of breath, apart from short stops at the exit of Frejus and the Langhe.
